Booking your driving test

To secure your driving test appointment, ensure you have three key elements at hand: your UK driving licence number, your email address, and a valid credit or debit card. Once you have them, you can start the booking process here.

Show me, tell me questions

During your car driving test, you will be asked two vehicle safety questions. The examiner will present you with a "tell me" question at the beginning of the test, where you'll need to explain how you would carry out a safety task. This occurs before you start driving.

Additionally, while you're on the road, a "show me" question will be posed, requiring you to demonstrate how you would carry out a safety task. These questions are pivotal components of the test, assessing your knowledge and practical application of safe driving practices. Sample questions can be found here.
